forgot my head.

I’m a sucker for mystery bags.  I have trouble passing them up every time I see them…but since I’m a poor student I try to limit myself to the once a year New Years ones they have at Smart Maple/One’s Better Living  :3  And they’re always full of crap!  Wonderful, mystery crap.  So this year, when I saw on Omiyage’s blog they were doing some Lucky bags I pondered until all the Large size were gone (and then cried a little inside) and bought a medium one instead.  I’m never buying that bag of wonderful mystery crap again!  This was SOMUCHBETTER!

Also, I got my Christmas present from my parents last weekend, an Olympus PEN E-PM1, and I took some pictures of my cats and then the contents of my lucky bag.

Omiyage is friggin’ awesome.  People were baffled when I asked for a bunch of string and tape for Christmas (but aren’t they lovely for giving it to me anyway?), but if you’re anything like me you’ll understand :3  And it’s awesome, because they’re in Toronto, I’m in Toronto, shipping is $7.50 flat rate, and if it’s actually less than that they’ll reimburse you.  Awesome!  I swear they didn’t bribe me to say awesome things about them.

Also, I’m REALLY late on this but Happy Chinese New Year!  新年快乐!  I’m sad that my Mandarin class didn’t have enough enrollment this semester, who wants to force me to practice Mandarin?

For the lovely Emma, though I should have fixed it a bit for this photo.  Actually, it was a bit wonked anyway (sorry! :S)  Christmas is stressful.  I made a matching one for the wonderful Becky but with different letters :)  

I attempted to make this better with fun things in Picnik.  Well, you can see creepy Mynnion the cat staring out at you, maybe it just adds to it.  I finished this owl pillow for G’s Uncle’s girlfriend on Christmas eve around midnight :S

Hope everyone’s back-to-school hasn’t been too stressful!  I already had my first outfit from my collection due last Thursday O.o  Lovin’ life.

tumblr neglect will continue, now.  but before i disappear again i would like to share a video that resonates deeply within my soul.  

Long dresses are my new fave.  My friend Tala took this just before we went to find the cherry blossoms in High Park for a picnic last weekend.  :)  Hope the weather is better wherever you are, this weekend its rain, rain, rain in the GTA.  Well, at least it’s not beautiful and sunny while I’m sick in bed (muahaha)

The date is finally here: Lady Bare Knuckles will be opening the Ryerson University film festival on Thursday, May 12, 2011! 

Lady Bare Knuckles will be playing amongst other fantastic student works as part of Ryerson University’s short film showcase. The event will take place at Toronto’s The Royal Theatre (608 College St.) and doors will be opening at 6:30PM.
